Christopher Clabaugh Obituary

Clabaugh, Christopher Craig.
Christopher Craig Clabaugh, beloved son of Craig and Katherine Clabaugh of Wilton, passed away in New Haven on January 14, 2015. Christopher was born on June 30, 1988 at Stamford Hospital and attended Stamford schools until 1995 when his family moved to Wilton. His life-long love of music and the trombone matured in Wilton and he played in many ensembles throughout his academic life. As a junior and senior in high school he was named the All-State bass trombone player and was also a member of the Norwalk Youth Symphony Principal Orchestra. He graduated from Wilton High School as a National Merit Semi-Finalist in 2006 and attended several colleges over the years.
In addition to his parents he is survived by his sister Karen Mrozek and her husband Michael of Harrison, NY, aunts ,Jane DeBartolo of Westport and Kristin Soares of E. Freetown, MA, uncles, Karl Rasche of Hampden, ME and Stephen Rasche of Canterbury, NH, girlfriend ,Kristen Sierman, and many other relatives and friends. We will all miss him dearly.
A memorial service will be celebrated at the First Presbyterian Church of Stamford at 11:00 AM on Saturday January 24, 2015. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the First Presbyterian Church of Stamford, Hagan Music Fund, 1101 Bedford St, Stamford, CT 06905.
