Calvin Crouch Obituary

CROUCH, Calvin J.

62, of Montour Falls, passed away peacefully on May 31, 2016 after a long illness. The family will receive friends and relatives at the Royce-Chedzoy Funeral Home, 212 E. 4th St., Watkins Glen on Sunday (June 5th) from 4pm-7pm. A Mass of Christina Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary's of the Lake Church in Watkins Glen on Monday at 10:30am; followed by committal service at Holy Cross Cemetery. Calvin was born on February 2, 1954 in Town of Barton, NY to Herschel and Henrietta Filippetti Crouch. He is survived by his loving wife and friend of almost 43 years, Nancy; children, Jessica Duvall of Owego and Anntionette Crouch (Todd Crayton) of Penn Yan; 4 grandchildren, Rosalyn Duvall, Vincent Duvall, Christian Hall and Kimberly Mcconnell; great-granddaughter, Kouria; several aunts and cousins; father and mother-in-law, Dan and Ann Neumire of Reading Center; sister-in-law Cindy Neumire; brothers-in-law and their wives, Danny (Joanne), Don (Tracy), Dale (Janet), and Dana (Christina) Neumire, several nieces and nephews; and also several great friends. Calvin was employed by Enterprise Products Corporation (TEPPCO) for over 36 years. He loved spending time with family and friends, and was passionate about his hobbies, including model building, woodworking and miniatures. Calvin enjoyed any style auto racing, spending many weekends flagging at the track. He also enjoyed being outdoors fishing, hunting, and watching wildlife. He also enjoyed traveling everywhere from across country to southern beaches. Calvin always loved a good card game, good food, and laughing. He coached Small Fry Football for many years. He also coached wrestling at Odessa and Watkins Glen schools. Calvin will be remembered for his great smile and laugh. Thanks to everyone who helped along the way. We will all miss him.
