MAGGESE, Robert Sr.
Age 67 of Tampa, Florida, formerly of Elmira, NY passed away peacefully on Monday October 1, 2012 after a brief battle with cancer. Bob was born May 30, 1945 in Philadelphia, PA the son of the late Donato and Edna Maggese. He was a former employee of Thatcher Glass Company in Elmira Heights, NY. Bob was an avid New York Mets fan and enjoyed time spent with his family. Mr. Maggese is survived by his children Tricia (Todd) Kerbein of Horseheds, NY, Robert (Rene) Maggese Jr. of Largo, Florida, Steve (Mike) Maggese of Terrell, Texas; grandchildren Todd (Ambir) Kerbein Jr., Justin (Ashley) Kerbein, Robert (Adrianna) Maggese III; great grandchildren Bentley Maggese, Brayden Kerbein, and Adilynn Kerbein; brothers Paul Maggese of Tampa, Florida and Dennis Maggese of Turlock, CA; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of caring friends. In addition to his parents, Bob was also predeceased by his daughter Jennice Maggese and by his brother David Maggese and by a special friend Mary Hannon. At Bob's request there will be no prior calling hours. A Memorial Service Celebrating Bob's Life will be held in Tampa, Florida at the convenience of the family.

my thoughts and prayers go out to the family in ur time of need i have some memories of my own with bob watchin him his mom edna and pat and my mom all playing cards also the nice cook outs that we had. steve bj paul and ur familys i am so sorry for ur loss .

so sorry for the loss of a wonderful man we had some great times when he visited his mom who lived with me (edna)who i miss so much we would play a lot of cards he even went camping one time with us we had so much fun he called me 2 yrs ago i will always remember that he said you know who this is i said yup omg bob he startrd laughing i will always remeber that
