My deepest sympathy to all of Mellie's family. I know how difficult having her pass during the holiday season must be for all of you. While I don't know any of you, I got to know Mellie (and Mose too) when I was in college and served during the summer as a waitress with her at The Town House. She was so kind, so helpful and so much fun to work with. She always guided me with great patience. What a wonderful person she was! My prayers go out to you all.

Mike,Diane, and Medio my heartfelt sympathy goes out to you. The loss of a loved one is never easy especially at the holidays.I will always be honored to be known as their godson and although lifes change and we move on we don't keep in touch with those that always remember us. I will never forget the times growing up and being together with mom and dad. I believe mose is waiting to greet her along with family and friends. Thats what comforts me knowing someone will be waiting.God Bless

The special memory I have is Aunt Mellie having a family reunion at the house - a long time ago. It was a bright and sunny summer day and we all had a great time. That's Aunt Mellie - a warm, bright sunny day. I will always remember her in the rainbows as I saw one driving to Watkins yesterday and thought immediately of her. I hope she is enjoying a dance with Uncle Mose. She will be missed. I hope the peace of this season comforts us all!

Diana, Michael and families,
I will miss your Mom, my Aunt Mel who always greeted me and my dad's unannounced "drop-in" visits with her quick and ever present smile. She always had coffee and a little "dolce" for us as we sat around the dinning room table having a good time. She truly made her kitchen the heart of her home. Even in later years when mom and I visited, her smile and hospitality were always there. Love to all.

My deepest sympathy to Mel's family.
I had the great pleasure of getting to know Mel and what a lovely gal - she was.
She always had a kind word and that lovely smile. We can't forget that wonderful "giggle".
I will miss her.
God bless to all of you and "Mel, until we meet again".
