Sheila,
Losing a husband and a best friend is the hardest thing that I have ever been through. I do know how you are feeling right now. Please know that you have the support of friends and family now which helps to bear the pain.
I found this poem on the internet that I would like to share with you. I hope it brings you some comfort.
We thought of you with love today,
But that is nothing new.
We thought about you yesterday,
and the days before that too.
We think of you in silence.
We often speak your name.
Now all we have is memories.
and your picture in a frame.
Your memory is our keepsake.
With which we will never part.
GOD has you in HIS keeping.
We have you in our heart.
If you ever need to talk, know that I am here for you.
May GOD bless you.
