Thomas, Doris V. Doris V Thomas, 86 of Brooksville, FL, formerly of Horseheads, NY joined her husband Leslie on December 6, 2014, as she has missed him for the last 14 years. Doris married her husband Leslie on October 23, 1948 and he predeceased her on February 17, 2000. She is survived by daughter, Patricia Loesch of Brooksville, FL; sons and daughter-in-laws James and Patricia Thomas of Horseheads, NY, Gregory and Carol Thomas of Cayuta, NY; and daughter and son-in-law Jean and Ronald Paugh of Cocoa, FL. Burial service will be officiated by Pastor Lewis Newkirk at the Maple Grove Cemetery on Broad Street in Horseheads, NY on July 1, 2015 at 11am with a party to follow as ordered by mom. As we all know, we wouldn't dare go against mother's orders. A Celebration of her Life will be held at the Horseheads American Legion on the Old Ithaca Road from 1-5pm. Donations in Doris's memory can be directed to the HPH Hospice, 12260 Cortez Blvd., Brooksville, FL 34613.

Thomas, Ruth P.  
Thomas, Ruth P. Age 99, of Elmira, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 24, 2015 at Bethany Courtyards. Ruth was born on May 22, 1916 in Nanticoke PA. She was the daughter of David and Pauline Richards. Ruth was predeceased by her husband William J. Thomas in 1971; sisters, Melba Williams and Shirley Vacca; brother David "Harry" Richards. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, William J. and Vivian Thomas of Horseheads; daughters and son-in-law, Joan R. and Neil Smith of Yorktown IN, Carolyn P. Parry of Coronado CA; sister-in-law Bette Richards formerly of Pine City; 5 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. Ruth was a faithful member of North Presbyterian Church for 73 years. She was a longtime volunteer of the Arnot Ogden Hospital Auxiliary with over 4,000 hours of service. Family and friends are invited to McInerny Funeral Home, 502 West Water Street, Elmira, on Monday June 29, 2015 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. Donations in Ruth's memory may be directed to the North Presbyterian Church Food Pantry, 921 College Ave., Elmira NY 124901 or a charity of choice.

Turner, Jane (Dilberto) Jane (Diliberto) Turner, of Burdett, and formerly of Onalaska, TX, died on Friday, June 26, 2015. She is survived by her brother, Louis Diliberto with whom she resided.
