Leo G. Cook, age 93, of County Route 2 in Addison passed away at home on Sunday, November 18, 2012. Born in Addison, he was the son of Guy W. and Myrtle (Demorest) Cook. He married Dorothy J. McKibben in 1945. They were married for 50 years until her passing in 1995. Leo served in the Army during World War II. After returning home, he worked his own dairy farm for many years before working at the Bath VA for more than 20 years. Leo and his wife Dorothy made sure that they had a love-filled home. The door was always open for anyone who needed care. He enjoyed spending his time in the outdoors, hunting and fishing. A favorite pastime was watching the Yankees. Leo lived his life for his family and to be with them. He is survived by seven children: David (Joyce) Coates of Supply, NC , Mary Coates of Largo, FL, Carol Cook of Gainesville, FL, James Cook of Savona, NY, Ronald (Patricia) Cook of Avoca, NY, Leona (Gene) English of Addison, Leo Cook of Addison; 22 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Connie Coates of Largo, FL., and son-in-law Charles Stewart. Leo was predeceased by sons Carlton and William Coates, and his daughter, Barbara Stewart. Family and friends are invited to call at Carpenter-Flint Funeral Home, 10 Wall St. in Addison on Friday, November 23, 2012 from 10:00AM to noon with a memorial service immediately following there at noon with Rev.
