Daugherty, Anna Liddic "Nanny"

Age 82, was welcomed into Heaven January 25, 2013 from her home in Milan, PA after an extended illness. Anna was born November 12, 1930 in Williamsport, PA to Walter and Anna Liddic. She married Calvin on June 11, 1948 until his death in 2003. They raised 7 children in Millerton, PA before moving to Milan. Anna was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, nurturing and loving her children, helping to raise her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, leaving many cherished memories. She had a beautiful voice and sang daily. She loved gardening, animals, Elvis and playing Canasta. She retired from Elmira Stamping after many years of service. Surviving her are children, Brenda Miller, Corinne Shafer, Lewis (Donna), Wayne (Dena), Darlene Diniz, Lydia (Larry) Voorhees, Cindy (Daniel) Miller; 14 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren; brother, Leslie (Myra) Liddic; sister, Virginia (Robert) Sechrist; sisters- in-law, Kate Daugherty and Phyllis Herbst; brother-in-law, Harry Lytle; several nieces, nephews and friends. Besides Calvin and her parents, she was predeceased by 2 grandchildren, Nathan and Jennifer; sisters, Mae, Edna and Lorrin. Family will receive friends and relatives on Tuesday, January 29, 2013, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Olthof Funeral Home, Inc., 105 Pennsylvania Ave., Elmira/Southport NY and on Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. with Funeral Service there at 12:00 p.m. Pastor Richard Hack will officiate, followed by Gravesdie Prayers at Glenwood Cemetery, Troy PA.
