Berman, Annette R.

Age 92 passed on November 9, 2013 at The Weinberg Campus in Getzville, NY. Annette was predeceased by her parents, Harry and Pauline Rabinoff and husband, Nathan Berman. Survived by son, Steve (Jill); granddaughter, Lindsay, all of Buffalo; five nieces and many close friends. Annette was a fur model in New York City in her teenage years. After marriage and the war, they moved to Elmira, where Annette and Nat became co-owners of "Elmira Fabric Center" located on Langdon Plaza from 1946 until the 1972 Flood, which wiped out everything. Annette and Nat then re-located to Horseheads where they started "Annette's Discount Bridals" from 1973 to 2004. After retirement she then moved to Buffalo to be closer to her family. Funeral arrangements are private and a small memorial reception will be held later at The Weinberg Campus for friends at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations in Annette's memory may be made to Hospice Buffalo or a .
