Edward Piatkowski Obituary

Age 85 of Elmira died Thursday, December 16, 2010 at Arnot-Ogden Medical Center. He is survived by his beloved Children; daughter, Grace (John) Hughes, Elmira; son, Ewaryst (Georgia) Piatkowski, Oneonta, NY; grandchildren, Elizabeth, Erik, Jordan, and Emily; a sister; several brothers, Brothers -In- law & Sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews & cousins living in Poland; and many friends. He was predeceased by his wife Joanna in July. Edward was born in Poland, a communicant of St. Casimir's Church, Elmira. Those wishing may make a donation in Edward's name to the American Cancer Society (envelopes available at the Funeral Home & Church). The Family will receive Relatives & Friends at the Kalec Funeral Home Monday, December 20th for a Prayer Service at 9:30 a.m. followed by his Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. in St. Casimir's Church. Burial to follow in Sts. Peter & Paul's Cemetery.
