Age 93 of Elmira, NY, passed away quietly at home on Sunday, April 13, 2014. FRIENDS MAY CALL AT THE BAKER FAMILY FUNERAL HOME ON THURSDAY, APRIL 17, FROM 3PM TO 6PM. INTERMENT OF FUZZY'S ASHES WILL BE HELD IN HANLON HILL CEMETERY, RIDGEBURY TWP. AT THE CONVENIENCE OF THE FAMILY. Fuzzy is survived by his wife of 62 years, Jeanine (Ginger) Baker; sons, Frank Baker of Elmira, NY, Hugh (Lynda) Baker of Hazleton Pa; daughter, Nancie Kent of Hazleton, Pa; five grandchildren, Jamie, Heather, Janine, Shawna & Jillian; seven great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Lois Wedgeworth; & several nieces & nephews. He was predeceased by brothers, Hugh Baker, Charles Baker & Paul D. Baker, Sr.; sisters, Margaret O'Connor & Jane Cunningham; & son-in-law, Ronald Kent. Fuzzy was a United States Navy Veteran serving from 1939-1945. He was retired from the Erie Lackawanna Railroad after 32 years of service. Uncle Fuzzy was an outstanding athlete back in the day.
