Bianculli, James Anthony

Chattanooga, TN: James Anthony Bianculli, age 74, of Chattanooga, TN, went to his heavenly home on Sunday, November 20, 2011, at his residence. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. A native of Elmira, NY and the son of the late Anthony and Eleanor Bianculli; he attended LeMoyne College in Syracuse, NY and graduated from Elmira College in Elmira, NY. A longtime accountant, he was employed with Chattanooga Glass, Burner Systems, and he retired from American Manufacturing (Array). He was an active member of St. Stephen's Catholic Church where he served as a Eucharistic Minister and Coordinator for the Traveling Chalice. He was also an active member of the Elks Lodge 91 Chattanooga, TN and he had a passion for golf. Preceded in death by sister, Helen Hammond. Survived by devoted wife of 54 years, Marilyn Bianculli of Chattanooga, TN; three sons and three daughters, Mark Bianculli (Jane) of Ooltewah, TN, Lori Fox (Zane) of Chattanooga, TN, Michael Bianculli of Chattanooga, TN, Scott Bianculli of Atlanta, GA, Lisa Mench (Michael) of Apison, TN and Karen Krupp (Brian) of Savannah, GA; 12 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, November 23, 2011, at 2 p.m. at St. Stephen's Catholic Church with Father Gilbert Diaz and Father Mike Nolan officiating. Entombment will be in Hamilton Memorial Gardens in Hixson, TN. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 22, 2011, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Chattanooga Funeral Home, East Brainerd Chapel, 8214 East Brainerd Road, Chattanooga, TN 37421. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Chattanooga, 4411 Oakwood Drive, Chattanooga, TN 37416 or to St. Stephen's Catholic Church, 7111 Lee Highway, Chattanooga, TN 37421.
