Forand, Susan Kay Orbanac

Age 66 of Pine City, returned home and passed away peacefully on May 1, 2014 after a long but courageous battle with Multiple Myeloma. Susie was born and raised in Elmira, daughter of the late, Joseph & Helen Bauer Orbanac. She spent most of her life in Mesa, AZ. A graduate of Southside High School, She was employed by Statewide Lighting, Scottsdale, AZ.

Surviving are her loving siblings, two sisters and a brother, Dolores Kauffman, Pine City; JoEllen (Richard) Miller, Sumter, SC; and Anthony (Linda) Orbanac, College Park, MD. One of her greatest achievements was to just be "Aunt Susie" She was a fun loving, caring and always remembered a special day or event for her many nieces, nephews and their families. Surviving nieces and nephews include, Denise Buono, Pine City; Pamela Kauffman, Pine City; Sharon Jackson, Wrentham, MA; Michael Brimmer, Pine City; Barbara Grennell, Horseheads; Mary McAlinn, Elmira; John Brimmer, Wellsburg; Kathleen Needler, Uxbridge, MA; Joel Miller, Cloverdale, CA; Heather House, Novato, CA; Sarah Miller, Petaluma, CA; Whitney Orbanac, College Park, MD; and Timothy Orbanac, Rochester. Susie truly valued the love of family and friendship. She would want to send a heartfelt thank you to Rick & Deb Allen, Pine City for their help and friendship. Family and friends will be received at Caywood's Funeral Home & Gardens, 1126 Broadway, Southport/Elmira on Wed. May 7, 2014 between the hours of 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Memorial services will follow the visitation at 1 p.m. with her brother-in-law, Rev. Richard Miller officiating with interment in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
