Knuth, Andrew J.
Andrew J. Knuth, age 85, a resident of Naperville, IL since 1970, passed away July 15, 2014 at his home at Spring Meadows in Naperville. He was born January 28, 1929 in Orange, NJ. Andrew is survived by his sons, Eric (Debbie) Knuth of Madison, WI and Chris (Kim) Knuth of Evergreen, CO; and his grandchildren, Joshua, Matthew and Brittany Knuth. He was preceded in death by his twin brother, Martin (Barbara) Knuth; and sisters, Jane (Bill) Sapper and Virginia Murray. Andrew graduated from Elmira High School in Elmira, NY, class of 1946. He attended Rider College in Trenton, NJ and served honorably in the US Army, 1946-1947. Andrew retired as a Regional Sales Manager from Thatcher Glass Co., a division of Kraft Foods, after 35 years of service. Throughout his life, he enjoyed golfing, playing tennis and collecting antiques. For those who would like to leave a lasting tribute to Andrew's life, memorials to the Leukemia Society of America would be deeply appreciated.
