AGE 80 of Millport , NY formerly of Horseheads , NY passed away on Friday December 28 , 2012 at The Arnot Ogden Medical Center . Harry was born June 15 , 1932 in Horseheads , NY the son of the late George and Lorena Southard Hodge . He was a Korean War Veteran serving his country with The U. S. Army . Harry was a member and former Commander of Bentley-Trumble American Legion Post # 442 of Horseheads , NY. He was a retired truck driver for Cumberland Transportation in Elmira , NY. Harry married his wife , Diane Appleton , Hodge on January 25 , 1963 and she pre-deceeased him on October 7 , 1999. In addition to his parents , Harry was also pre-deceased by his brother George Hodge and his sisters Liza Pastrick and Wilma Coakley. Harry loved his family and friends and treasured the time he spent with them especially his grandchildren Loren and Jordan who were always helping him with whatever he needed. Harry is survived by his daughter and son-in-law : Michelle & Raymond VanAmburg of Lowman , NY ; sons and daughters-in-law: Scott & Renee Hodge of Horseheads , NY , Mark Hodge of Millport , NY , and Shane & Kelly Hodge of Elmira , NY ; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren ; sisters: Lillian Reynolds of Horseheads , NY and Madeline Hetrick of Horseheads , NY; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law : Nancy & Gordon Wetherbee of Pine City , NY , Joyce & Jack Fiester of Horseheads , NY , and Jane & Bill Allington of Hector , NY ; several nieces , nephews , cousins , and a host of caring friends. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the LYNCH FUNERAL HOME 318 WEST BROAD STREET HORSEHEADS , NY on Sunday December 30 , 2012 from 2-4 PM. Harry's Funeral and Committal Services will be held at the conclusion of calling hours at 4 PM. Harry will be laid to rest next to his beloved wife Diane on Monday December 31, 2012 at 11 AM at Maple Grove Cemetery in Horseheads , NY where Full Military Honors will be accorded Mr. Hodge.
