Carol Vanderpool Obituary
On January 25, 2013, the Lord received a beautiful angel. Carol was born on May 20, 1925 in Verendrye, ND to the late James and Clara Trask. She is survived by her children, Connie (Bill Schroth) Wolcott of Elmira, Linda Cronkrite (Dick) Dove of Machias, NY, Terry (Vikki) Lockner of FL and Perry (Paula) Cronkrite of TX; brothers, Roy (Barb) Trask of Newfield, NY, James (Teresa) Rose and David (Rita) Trask both of Washington; sisters, Barb (Lance) Craig, Nancy Trask and Candy Trask all of Washington; son-in-law, Larry Kelly of Elmira; eight grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; along with several nieces and nephews. Carol was predeceased by her husband, Clyde Vanderpool; brothers, Mandley, James and Robert Trask; daughters, Cheryl Cronkrite and Patricia Kelly; and granddaughter, Paullette Vanderpool. As per her wishes, there will be no calling hours. A private graveside service will take place at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be to CareFirst, formerly known as Hospice, 11751 E. Corning Rd., Corning, NY 14830. The family would like to say a special thank you to Jeanette and all the staff at Bethany Manor. Arrangements have been entrusted to the James D. Barrett Funeral Home.
