The family of Joe Leonard would like to extend their deepest appreciation to all of you who were there for us during a very difficult time. We would especially like to thank the South Creek Fire Department, Chief Matt Harkness, the South Creek Ambulance, Pastor Don Rockwell, Canton VFW Post 714, the Innes Hose Company, Canton High School Class of 1961, Troy High School Class of 1962, Dave Greenburg and the Savanna Car Club, the Thomas A. Edison High School staff and students, and all the local fire departments who offered their support and caring. We also had some very special friends that came in and helped us get through those first two or three days - without you we would have been lost. Those folks don't want their names mentioned but you know who you are and thank you!
The Guest Book is expired.
To all of you who came to the house, brought in food, answered the phone, sent a card, sent a memorial, helped with the service, or called or emailed to express your sorrow we are so grateful. Joe wanted nothing more than to see people pull together and you all certainly did that for us. We sure miss that bearded smile and someone telling us how to do things 'the Leonard way' but his legacy lives on in the difference you all make in your community. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the gifts from your hearts.
Linda, Muffy (Mary Ann), Ethan, Adam and Halilah
