The Rev. Deborah Casey passed away Saturday, March 11, 2017, in the Williamsport Hospital. She was born on December 27, 1945, in Alexandria, IN to Edgar and Margaret Casey. She is survived by her husband David Wilcox in Mansfield, PA, her sister Nancy Lewis in Orlando, FL, and her brother Lawrence Casey-Allen in Indianapolis, IN. She graduated from Butler University, Indianapolis IN, 1967 (BA, Sociology). She served with the American Red Cross, 1967 to 1968, in Viet Nam. She attended Christian Theological Seminary, Indianapolis, IN and also worked as Director of Women's Ministries of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in the United States and Canada in the 1970's. In 1979 she became pastor of the Canoe Camp Church of Christ (Disciples), Mansfield PA. She was ordained on June 15, 1986 at the Canoe Camp Church of Christ (Disciples). Deborah retired as Chaplain, United Campus Ministry, Mansfield University, in 2011. Friends are invited to call from 1 PM to 2 PM, Saturday, 18 March 2017, at Wilstons Funeral Home, 130 South Main St, Mansfield, PA.
