Pearl and Essie Mae
March 10, 2011
When we think of Mac a big smile comes on our faces. He brought a lot of laughter to us. The cute little jokes he would tell, his outspoken mannerism never left you wondering what he was saying. We miss him stopping by sitting in the chair snoozing for a moment or two. We kept in touch almost daily by phone and sometimes after chatting he would remember a little something else he wanted to say and call back and say “It’s just me,” we miss these little things. He would bring us little treasures, Essie Mae has several “what-nots” and dearly loves them. I’m reminded of the time we were going to Middleriver Church, we stopped at a store. Ella Mae was in the car waiting on Mac. I returned to the car and Ella Mae was inquiring about Mac. I wasn’t about to tell her Mac was telling one of his jokes to the store clerk. We will miss the yard sale trips and the delicious Chickin and Dumplins and all the other good food he made. He was more of a brother to us than a cousin. Even though there’s a big void in our hearts, we are so happy Mac is with his sweet Ella Mae and our sweet Lord. We are preparing for that Reunion Day, it’s not gonna be long. Mac we’re doing our best to love Lady Baby like you did.

My deepest sympathy goes to Mac's family and friends. Have fond memories of Mac when many years ago he and sang together in church. May God comfort all at this time.

I'm so sorry to hear of Mac's passing. He was such a sweet man and a real pleasure to work with. He kept in touch with us in Crider & Shockey's dispatch office and we will miss his calls. Keeping your family in my prayers at this time.

I was sad when I heard the news about Mr. Pullen. He was a very kind and sweet man. I will miss seeing him and his little dog "Lady". My thoughts and prayers go out to the family. God Bless.
