Dr. Donald Waller Devine, recently of Culpeper, Virginia, was born into eternal life on Saturday, October 27, 2012. He was married to Jill A. Devine for 12 years.

Donald was born in Detroit, Michigan, on July 29, 1927, to the late Raymond and Katie Waller Devine. He was predeceased by his first wife, Sally Devine. Together they raised five children and had eight grandchildren, all of Cincinnati, Ohio.

Dr. Devine served proudly in the United States Coast Guard in World War II and the Korean War. He received his B.S. and Master's from Wayne State University and his Doctorate in Education from the University of Pennsylvania. He went on to work for CitiGroup, then General Motors as Vice President of Human Resources. He founded The Devine Group, a worldwide behavioral assessment company, that helps hire and develop personnel for companies throughout the world. Donald had a passion for learning and shared his passion with everyone he met. A funeral mass will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 31, 2012, at Precious Blood Church in Culpeper, and he will be buried back home in Cincinnati, Ohio.
