Bryant Bayne Durham Bryant Bayne Durham, 86, long-time resident of Virginia Veterans Care Center in Roanoke died on Sunday, December 9, 2012.
He was born on August 26, 1926, to the late O.T. and Ethel Kilby Durham. Mr. Durham was a veteran of the United States Navy and served during World War II.
He is survived by his sister, Mrs. Cancis E. Snellings Binns of Orange; nieces, Paula S. Bell and Preston)of Palmyra and Judith E. Bernhart of Rochester, New York; nephews, Joel B. Snellings and Diann of Madison and the Reverend Jonathan Edwards and Jan of Mesquite, Texas; cousins, June K. Clemmons of Orange and Alouise Freidman of Culpeper; and several other cousins in the Richmond area. A funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, December 12, 2012, at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, with the Reverend Lanny Horton officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Culpeper National Cemetery with military honors provided by Culpeper V.F.W. Post #2524 and Culpeper American Legion Post #330. The family would like to thank the Veteran Care Center for the care and compassion shown to their brother, uncle and cousin.
