CULBERTSON - Charles Cline, 74, died Friday, March 15, 2013 at the Good Samaritan Center in Ravenna.
Private Graveside Services will be held at Ft. McPherson National Cemetery, Maxwell.
Rasmusssen Funeral Home in Ravenna is in charge of arrangements.
Charles Cline was born Dec. 3, 1938 in Bayard to Leslie and Irene (Franklin) Cline.
He served in the U.S. Air Force as a SAC electrician working on B 52's until he was discharged. He was proud to be a lifelong outdoorsman, hunting, fishing and trapping until failing health. Charles helped build and run numerous cable systems in towns throughout the Nebraska panhandle and northern Colorado, as well as being a lineman with the phone company.
Survivors include his wife and best friend of 52 years, Karen (Hammack) Cline of Culbertson; son, Terry Cline of Culbertson; daughter, Teena Jones of Golden, Colo.; grandchildren, Ryan and Alice Jones of Golden, Colo.; brothers, Chris and wife, Linda Cline of California and David and wife, Sherry of Bills, Wyo.; sister, Hattie Grubbs of South Dakota and many beloved nieces and nephews.
Charles was very proud of his brothers who served in the different branches of the service.
Two brothers and three sisters preceded him in death.
