Loretta Cullan Obituary

ALLIANCE - Loretta M. Cullan, 68, died Saturday, April 9, 2011, at Highland Park Care Center in Alliance, after a long battle with cancer.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 13, at St. Bridget's Catholic Church in Hemingford, with Father Jim Heithoff officiating. Burial will be in the Hemingford Cemetery.
Rosary services will be held Tuesday, April 12, at 7 p.m. at the church.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home in Hemingford on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
Memorials may be given to Prairie Haven Hospice, the Hemingford Volunteer Fire Department or the donor's choice.
Online condolences may be left at www.batesgould.com. Bates-Gould Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Loretta was born Sept. 2, 1942, in Alliance, to Alfred and Gladys (Peltz) Enyeart. She lived in the Hemingford area her entire life and was a graduate of Hemingford High School. She married Thomas R. Cullan on Nov. 1, 1960 in Rapid City, S.D.
She was an avid reader, a talented artist, and her family was her greatest joy. Loretta was a member of St. Bridget's Catholic Church.
Survivors include her husband, Thomas R. Cullan of Hemingford; daughters, Kelly (Jeff) Crawford, Alliance; Angela (Steve) Tompsett, Omaha; Shannon (Greg) Allyn, Frisco, Texas; Kate Cullan, Chicago, Ill.; Julie (Floyd) Smith, Morrill; Bridget Wright, Hemingford; 17 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; mother, Gladys Enyeart, Alliance; sister, Evelyn (Al) Vogel, Papillion; brother, Rick Enyeart, Hemingford; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Her son, Brian Cullan and father, Alfred Enyeart, preceded her in death.
