Daquill M. Grant Cherished son and brother On Sept. 4, 2016, Daquill M. Grant, age 18, suddenly made his transition. A celebration of his life will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, 198 Chadwick Ave., Newark, N.J. Interment is in Rosehill Cemetery, Linden, N.J. Visitation is Tuesday from 9 a.m. until time of service at the church. Arrangements are by Whigham Funeral Home. Born in Newark, N.J., Daquill was a resident of Union, N.J., for four years, and a former resident of East Orange, N.J., for 11 years. Daquill was the beloved son of Deress Jones and Sharon Grant-Greenwood; loving brother of Rahkera Sanders, Blessing and Tahirah Greenwood, Yasmine, Yasim and Rashid Jones, Shakur and Quason Grant, Christopher Murphy, Zakie Hinton and the late Dewquan Durant. He is also survived by a host of other relatives and friends.
