Edmund Redsecker Obituary

Edmund Jones "Ed Red" Redsecker, 75, of Cedar Grove, N.J., passed away suddenly on Nov. 15, 2013. Funeral services are on Monday at 7:30 p.m. at Shook's Cedar Grove Funeral Home, 486 Pompton Ave., Cedar Grove. Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. Private interment will follow. Memories and condolences may be shared at shookscedargrove.com. Ed proudly served our country in the U.S. Army, stationed in Germany. He is survived by his beloved wife, Lynn Redsecker; beloved daughters, Judith Ann Morrice and her husband, Thomas, and Stacey Lynn Weisser and her husband, Steven; loving grandchildren, Courtney, Brett, Emily, and Drew, and cherished sisters, Alice Burgess, Dorothy Cadmus and her husband, Raymond, and Ella Lee Hamilton and her husband, Doug. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Cedar Grove Ambulance and Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 81, Cedar Grove, N.J. 07009 and the Cedar Grove Fire Department, P.O. Box 435, Cedar Grove, N.J. 07009.

Always smiling and encouraging, Ed was a great brother to my Jim. I miss them both, but remember such fun times when the clan gathered in Centreville, MD, where "the boys" will soon be together again.
