John M. DiMilia

John M. DiMilia, 54, formerly of West Caldwell, N.J., and Verona, N.J., passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2013. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, Oct. 7, at 10 a.m. at Notre Dame Church in North Caldwell, N.J.; cremation will be private. Visiting will be on Sunday, Oct. 6, from 2 to 5 p.m. at Caggiano Memorial, 62 Grove St., Montclair, N.J., caggianomemorial.com. John was a member of the Laborers International Union of North America Local 394; prior to that, he worked at John DiMilia and Sons in Montclair. He was an active volunteer at the Y.M.C.A. in Elizabeth, N.J. John is survived by his daughter, Amanda DiMilia; his parents, Mario and Margaret DiMilia; his sister, Elizabeth Weaver (Scott); his brother, Kenneth DiMilia (Carol Ann); his nieces, Danielle and Nichole DiMilia, and Megan Weaver; a nephew, Scott Weaver, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Amanda DiMilia Scholarship Fund at any TD Bank.
