Paul Kenneth Gardner

A memorial service for Paul Kenneth Gardner, 62, formerly of Montclair, N.J., who died on Dec. 10, 2013, was held in Cape May Court House, N.J., on Dec. 13, 2013.
Paul attended Immaculate Conception Grammar and High School. He was an outstanding athlete and performer.
Paul graduated with a degree in English literature from Morris Harvey College in West Virginia. He was an extraordinary scholar and became a candidate for "College Jeopardy!"
Paul retired as a senior parole officer with the State of New Jersey.
A free spirit throughout his life, Paul had many interests, including the outdoors. He was an avid fisherman and hunter and a master gardener. Paul excelled in baseball and swimming and coached his children's soccer and baseball teams.
Paul loved literary and theatrical arts. He was an ardent reader and had a passion for classic movies. Paul also loved music, especially the Beatles, and was a gifted guitar player.
Paul is survived by his children, Geoffrey Gardner, Lauren Gardner, and Timmy Gardner, and the mother of their children, Margaret Gardner; his father, John Gardner Sr.; his siblings, Barbara Foran and her husband, Jim; Steven Gardner and his wife, Bonnie; John Gardner Jr.; Sheila Marshall and her husband, Fred, and Rita Gardner; also many nieces, nephews; cousins, and friends who will miss him dearly.
