Vito U. Rizzo Jr., 87, passed peacefully at his home in Cedar Knolls, N.J., on March 10, 2013. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, March 13, 2013, at 11:30 a.m. at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover, N.J. For further information, or to send the family a condolence, please visit www.bradleyfuneralhomes.com Born and raised in Newark, N.J., Mr. Rizzo spent most of his life in Caldwell, N.J., and Toms River, N.J., moving to Cedar Knolls in August of 2012. Vito served in the Navy during World War II from 1943 to 1945. He was a tool-and-die maker most of his life. Vito is survived by his wife of 63 years, Marie (nee DeLuca) Rizzo; his daughter, Geri Vogel; two grandsons, Donald and Patrick, and three great-grandchildren; also survived by his sister, Clara Denker and his brother, Vincent Rizzo.
