SARAH E. EWING Sarah E. Ewing, 83, of Atkinson, NC went to be with the Lord on Friday, February 21, 2014 surrounded by her family. Sarah was born in Pickens Co., SC on December 11, 1930, daughter of the late Bessie Sheriff Welborn and J.H. Welborn. She was also preceded in death by her loving husband, Frank A Ewing. Sarah loved animals and cooking for everybody but her true joy in life was spending time with her family. She will sadly be missed by all that knew her. Sarah is survived by her sons, James Ewing and his wife, Stephanie and Michael Ewing and his wife, Shannon; 4 grandchildren: Joshua, Shyanna, Grace and Julius. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 6:00pm to 8:00pm on Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at Coble Ward-Smith Funeral Home, 3915 Oleander Drive, Wilmington, NC 28403. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at Coble ward-Smith Funeral Home. Interment will be held privately at Cumberland Memorial Gardens in Fayetteville, NC. Memorial contribution may be made to Lower Cape Fear Hospice. The staff of Coble Ward-Smith Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Sarah W. Ewing. Aunt Sarah was my great great aunt and she was so cool to hang out with. She was always loving and caring. Always wanted to make sure you had plenty to eat. She could talk about anything. Love you and miss you.

Aunt Sarah was a great woman.She never judge me. She always loved me for me. She never had a bad word to say to anyone. She loved Her kids more than words could say. R.I.P. and God take care of this special angel
