JOHN AUSTIN HEWETT
SUPPLY -- Mr. John Austin Hewett, age 40, died Friday, December 7, 2012.
John Austin was a graduate of South Brunswick High School. He was an avid NASCAR Fan and his favorite driver was Dale Earnhardt Jr. He enjoyed being with his late grandfather, Junior Fulford on his shrimp boat. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He never met a stranger and he will always be remembered as being kind and gentle and having a contagious smile.
John Austin was born in New Hanover County on July 4, 1972, and was the son of John Albert Hewett of Shallotte and Marilyn Fulford Hewett(Greg Faulk) of Ocean Isle Beach. Survivors in addition to his parents in clued a brother, Jason Hewett of Supply; maternal grandmother, Juanita Fulford of Ocean Isle Beach; Aunts and Uncles, Douglas Fulford, Jeff Fulford (Ruby), Tracy Fulford, Sandy Fulford (L.C.), Benny Hewett (Glenda), Tammy (Tim); cousins, Devane Tolbert, Ariana Fulford, Chase Fulford, Damion Fulford, Austin Somersett, Destiny Kennedy, Kaitlyn Doster, Billy Fulford and numerous other cousins and extended family; a special friend, Faye Ellis of Shallotte.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 13, 2012, at 2pm at Sabbath Home Baptist Church with Reverend Wade McLamb and Reverend Tommy Fields officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Pallbearers will be, Jeff Fulford, Doug Fulford, Chase Fulford, L.C. Fulford, Jimmy Gibson, Kevin German; honorary pallbearers will be, Austin Somersett, Damion Fulford, Johnny Combs.
The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6-8 at White Funeral Service, 3660 Express Drive, Shallotte.
