Helen Imelda Kelly Hinn, of Wilmington, North Carolina, died on April 8, 2013, at New Hanover Regional Medical Center after a short illness. She was born in New York City to Helen and Michael Kelly and was one of eight children.

She is survived by her husband, Albert, of 52 years; her sons, Dr. Albert Hinn and Dr. Gregory Hinn; brothers, Ronald and Stephen Kelly; and sisters, Marian O'Conner, Janet Lammers, and Barbara Kelly. She had two grandchildren, Ryan and Keely Hinn of Raleigh, NC. She was predeceased in death by her son, Andrew, of Waynesville, NC.

Helen attended UNCW in Wilmington, and the UNC Chapel Hill Law School after raising her children. She practiced law in New Hanover County mainly with specialties in criminal defense, estate, and guardianship cases for thirty years.

A funeral Mass will be held at Saint Mark Catholic Church on 1013 Eastwood Road, Wilmington, NC, on Thursday, April 11, 2013, at 11:00AM and a luncheon will be provided in the parish hall. Burial will be held at Oleander Memorial Gardens at a later date. This will be a Coble Ward-Smith Funeral Service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts can be made to Good Shepherd Ministry, 811 Martin Street, or Saint Mary Social Ministry, 412 Ann Street, all in Wilmington, NC.

The staff of Coble Ward-Smith is honored to serve the family of Helen Imelda Kelly Hinn.
