Jane Dise Obituary
Jane Worden Dise passed away Sunday, July 12, 2009, at Riderwood Village, Silver Spring, MD, from complications due to her 15 year battle with multiple myeloma.
Jane grew up in Rochester, NY, graduated from the University of Rochester, raised her family in Amherst and Manlius, NY, and retired with her husband, Donald Parker Dise, to Hampstead, NC.
Jane traveled the world, loved to play golf, and excelled at whatever she put her hand to. She was a Life Master at bridge, an accomplished seamstress and creator of an amazing assortment of beautiful baskets.
She was preceded in death by her husband, and is survived by her children Kathryn Dise Powell of Silver Spring, MD, Karl Meyer Dise (Francis) of Evergreen, CO, Christopher Wesley Dise (Pamela) of Manlius, NY; and seven grandchildren.
