Since the first meeting with Jay, he was - most likely unknowingly to him - one of my dearest colleagues and mentors. The wisdom and caring he brought to ministry was inspiring and he remained committed to our district clergy group - and was in attendance at the April meeting held at Piedmont Crossing. I will miss his humble presence among us and the passion for ministry he expressed at every opportunity. I am thankful for his commitment to ministry and the way he has inspired us to continue on building up the kingdom of God here on earth! Blessings and prayers for Mark and Judy and family.
