OLLIE BOSWELL BENTON Ollie Boswell Benton "Tiny", 94, of Leland, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 12, 2013. She was born on August 14, 1919 to the late Dorse Bill Boswell and Carrie Hicks Boswell. Her hobbies included embroidering and shopping. She loved going to church and was a member of Gospel Fellowship Holiness Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Rufus "Tony"; son, Robert; brothers, Aredell and Buddy; sisters, Nellie and Ida; and grandson Mark. She is survived by her children, Lou Ann Wheeler (Wayne), Linda McLamb (Earl), Jean Sidbury (Jimmy) and George Benton (Anne); 16 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; brothers, Junior Boswell and Bobby Boswell; sisters, Fannie Stephenson, Dollie Potter, and Carrie Malpass; and two wonderful caregivers, Raye Brinson and Frances Furlough whom she loved. A visitation will be held on Sunday, September 15, 2013 from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Coble Ward-Smith Funeral service. A funeral service will be at 3:00 PM in the chapel of Coble Ward-Smith with the Rev. Billy Cooper officiating. Burial will follow at Shiloh UMC Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Warren Brown, Wayne Brown, Kenny Brown, Andy Benton, Jimmy Sidbury, and Zack Rogers. The staff of Coble Ward-Smith is honored to serve the family of Ollie Boswell Benton.
