Russell "Dwayne" Sauls, 52, of Southport, NC, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, April 23, 2013.

His memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, April 27, 2013, at Community Bible Church in Southport, NC. Visitation will be held immediately following the service.

Dwayne was born in Goldsboro, NC, on January 8, 1961. He graduated from Charles B. Aycock High School in 1979 and continued his education at Wayne Community College.

He is survived by his son Adam Sauls and wife Kayla of Durham, his daughter Erica Sauls of Goldsboro, his mother Peggy Hare of Goldsboro, his sister Debbie Morrissette and husband James of Dinwiddie, VA, and numerous extended family members who were dear to Dwayne's heart.

He is preceded in death by his father, Sydney "Russell" Sauls of Fremont, NC.

In lieu of flowers, Dwayne's children request that memorial donations be made to Community Bible Church, 102 Port Loop Road, Southport, NC 28461. Dwayne's family would like to extend heartfelt thanks for all of your love and support during his untimely passing.

"Joy comes in the morning."
