GERALD NEAL "JERRY" DUNN Gerald Neal "Jerry" Dunn, 77, of Wilmington, died Tuesday, May 13, 2014, at home. Jerry was born April 15, 1937 in Bladen County, NC, son of the late Theron Dunn and Viva Johnson Dunn. His daughter, Sarah English, preceded him in death. Mr. Dunn was a member of Long Leaf Baptist Church. He enjoyed his volunteer work at the North Carolina Department of Underwater Archeology and at the Cape Fear Museum. He was a past member of the Wilmington Model Flying Club. Jerry's hobbies included fishing, photography, local history research, and tinkering. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Jo Ann Dunn; two sons, Neal (Sherri) and Wesley (Arlene); and daughter, Jodi (Todd); five grandchildren, Joey (Kate), Stephania, Nicole, JoAnna (Stephen), and Taylor; and five great-grandchildren, Hudson, Jayden, Annabel, Will, and Reagan. The family will receive friends at an "informal" visitation from 6pm to 8:30pm Friday, May 16, 2014, at Andrews Market Street Chapel. A graveside service will be held at 11am Saturday, May 17, 2014, at Greenlawn Memorial Park with Rev. Eugene Ridley officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jerry's memory to Long Leaf Baptist Church, 317 Shipyard Boulevard, Wilmington, NC 28412. Condolences to the family at Andrews Market Street Chapel
