DELCO -- Betty Sue Wilkins Pridgen, 68 of Delco, N.C. fell into peaceful rest on Thursday, December 4, 2008 at her Residence.

She was the daughter of Marion Wilkins and Alice Viola Thompson and was preceded in death by her husband, Martin W. Pridgen; a son, Carl Wayne Wilkins; a brother, Jimmy Upchurch; two sisters, Billie Ann Simmons and Martha W. Powell. Mrs. Pridgen was a member of Red Hill Pentecostal Church, Delco, N.C.

Mrs. Pridgen is survived by: one daughter, Sue Ellis and husband, Walton of Delco, N.C.; one son, Martin Bernard Pridgen of Delco, N.C.; companion, Carl V. Wilkins of Delco, N.C.; one sister, Mary W. Lankston and husband, David of Bolton, N.C.; three brothers: Marion Lee Wilkins and wife, Ann of Wilmington, N.C., George Wayne Wilkins and wife, Gail of Delco, N.C., Alfis Ray Wilkins of Delco, N.C.; one brother-in-law, Robert Powell, Sr. of Delco, N.C.; five grandchildren: Linda Sue Ellis and spouse, David Parker, Joshua Ellis and fiancé, Ashley Malpass, Allison Ellis, Taylor Ellis, Amber Wilkins and spouse, Chad Coleman; six great-grandchildren: Lydia Grace, Randall Gauge, David Aaron Parker, Austin Parker, Amanda Davis, Caitlin Gore; one great great-granddaughter, Destinee Davis; a special niece, Linda Mills of Delco, N.C.; Several other nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be Sunday, December 7, 2008 at the Red Hill Pentecostal Church, Delco, N.C. at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Calvin Malpass officiating and Burial following in the Little Bethlehem Church Cemetery, Kelly, N.C.

Visitation will be Saturday, December 6, 2008 at the Red Hill Pentecostal Church, Delco, N.C. from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
