TAMMY RAE GIDDENS LUCYANN GIDDENS Tammy Rae Giddens and Lucyann Dell Giddens of Willard, mother and daughter passed unexpectedly from their earthly life on Sunday, July 14, 2013. Tammy was born February 5, 1976 in Wilmington, the daughter of Charles F. and Nancy Spencer Giddens. In addition to her parents and daughter Tammy is survived by her son, Spencer Gray Giddens; brother, Charles F. Giddens, Jr. and his wife, Rachel; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Tammy was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church. She was employed as produce manager for Sams Club in Wilmington. Tammy loved with all of her heart and her radiant smile brightened the life of all who knew her. She was a devoted mother and the joy of her life was her children, Spencer and Lucyann. Lucyann was born April 23, 2007 in Wilmington, the daughter of John Jay Farrior and the late Tammy Rae Giddens. In addition to her daddy she is survived by her grandparents, Charles F. and Nancy Spencer Giddens; brother, Spencer; uncle and aunt, Charles and Rachel; and many extended family and friends. She was a graduate of Sunshine Day Preschool and completed kindergarten at Penderlea School. Lucyann enjoyed playing Burgaw Dixie Youth Softball and dancing at Dancer's Corner with her friends. Lucyann was a bright and shining star on earth and now in heaven with all of God's little angels. Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, July 20, 2013 at Quinn-McGowen Funeral Home Burgaw Chapel with The Rev. Philip Eakins officiating. Burial will follow in Giddens Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home beginning at 11:00 a.m. until hour of the service. Charles and Nancy would like to thank each caring person for all acts of kindness, generosity and prayers that have been bestowed upon them and their families this past week.
