We purchased our first home from Mike and Mary 40 years ago in Midland, Michigan. They became dear friends for a lifetime. He will be greatly missed by his many friends. Mary,Molly and Ryan we are so sorry for your incredible loss. Hope your grief can be comforted by the wonderful memories of your dear husband and father. He was so special in many ways. The world is now a lesser place. Mike,may you rest in eternal peace. You will be greatly missed.

I initially met Mr. McKenna approximately 12 years ago. Mike was one of my customers, one of my most favorite customers, when I was employed by Neuwirth Motors here in Wilmington. I enjoyed having Mike as my customer, and my friend!! I always looked forward to the conversations that we would engage in whenever he would bring his vehicle in for service! Mike displayed an uncanny astuteness for a variety of topics! I don't believe that I ever spoke with him without learning something interesting and worthwhile. I am deeply saddened by his passing. Our community, and the world, has truly lost one of its most prized assets!! And, I have lost a friend.
