Seavey, Ormond A. "Oz" Age 100, of St. Louis Park, Minnesota, passed away August 27. Ormond was a devoted father and grandfather. He was born in Minneapolis and graduated from South High. Ormond worked for the Minneapolis Public Library, where he met Elisabeth Adams. Elisabeth and Ormond were married in 1941. The following year Ormond graduated from the University of Minnesota
. Ormond served in the Navy from 1942 to 1946. After the war, he moved to Hibbing, Minnesota and worked as the clinic administrator at the Adams Clinic from 1946 until his retirement in 1975. In 1997, he moved to St. Louis Park. Ormond was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Hibbing. His lifelong passions were reading, classical music, sports and his family. He was a proud and devoted supporter for his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Ormond was preceded in death by his wife Elisabeth and siblings, Harold, Lawrence, May, and Alice. He is survived by sons, Ormond (Nina), David (Yoshiko), Robert (Sarah Parker), and daughter, Sage Mottweiler (Renke); and grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Memorial service will be held at St. John's Episcopal Church, 4201 Sheridan Ave S., Minneapolis, MN 55410. The service is scheduled for 10:00 am on November 9. Memorials may be sent to the South High Foundation or Friends of the Hennepin County Library.
