
Klingner, Otto William "Bill" Went to see his Lord on February 19, 2013 after a long struggle with dementia. He joins his beloved wife, Virginia; parents, Otto & Lila Klingner; brothers, James & Roger; and sister-in-law, Rita, in heaven. Survived by 6 children: Christy & Dennis Huberty, Mark & Laura Klingner, Cary & Debbie (Weide) Klingner, Jill & Wayne (Koenig) Klingner, Kurt & Kait (Schott) Klingner, Lynn & Jim Houser; 11 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren: Scott & Abby and Spencer; Mark & Grayce and Eric Huberty; Dawn & Denis, Jacob and Hannah Kramer; Jason & Melissa, Ashley, Ethan, Eli and Emmett Elledge; Ross and Ellen Klingner, Elizabeth, Rebekah, Daniel and Jonathan Houser. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and sisters & brothers-in-law. He will be missed by many friends and his coworkers from Northport Engineering. We thank the caregivers Teresa Foss, Sarah Care and Southview Acres for the love and care they provided. Bill proudly served in the
US Marine Corps in the Philippines and China during
WWII. He graduated from the
University of Minnesota as an electrical engineer. After working at Engineering Research Associates, Univac and Honeywell, he joined Northport Engineering in 1957, which he led for over 40 years. Bill treasured integrity, faith, education and Ginny's cherry pie with Dairy Queen ice cream. Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 AM, Saturday, Feb. 23rd at CHURCH OF ST.
