Our family had the pleasure of working with Matt & Luke, on 2nd grade coach pitch, as well as in passing during the last 2 years. Luke-your dad was so proud of you! As I'm sure he was of all his kids. Don't ever forget that.
He was passionate about coaching baseball and a wonderful role-model for you Luke and all of your teammates. He dedicated a lot of time coaching his kids; only the best of the best dads would ever do that. We will keep you in our prayers. God Bless

We express our sincerest sympathies to Matt's family as we had the privilege of knowing him and Lucas through baseball. Matt coached with integrity and heart and had a positive impact on our son who regarded Matt as one of his all-time favorite coaches. Matt was awesome! He's one of the most thoughtful guys, and was totally fun to coach with. He cared more about others than himself, and was always trying to lift others up. He will be missed but not forgotten. I'm so sorry for your loss!
