Kyle Eugene Kester

Kester, Kyle Eugene Age 38, formerly of Apple Valley, was robbed and brutally murdered on Feb. 10, 2013, shortly after moving into his dream home he spent two years building in Mexico. Survived by parents, Harley and Wini of Apple Valley; brother, Joshua & wife Nikki; nephews, Harley, Dylan, and Brody and niece, Hailey, all of Farmington. Kyle spent earlier years in Delano and later moved to Apple Valley in the 5th grade. As a teen he was obsessed with cars, fixing and selling many. He moved to Calif. to escape the snow and continued to work on cars until 2004 when he moved to Phoenix to change careers. He started buying and fixing homes and then renting them out. He also managed many properties for other investors which became a 24/7 job. After visiting Mexico several times, he bought land in a valley overlooking mountains and started a two-year building project on his dream home. He loved the people there. He trusted everyone which ultimately led to his death. We will miss him forever. Services were held in Mexico and Phoenix.
