Geez Brian, I can't believe it has been 13 years since you departed from this world. I had a bit of a hard time finding your bench this year at the fair......but I found it. We all miss you and think of you often.

To Brian's Family, I worked with Brian for many years and took the same bus with him, we worked the same shift. I remember Brian as a very gentle person and always happy, he was so sweet when I came back to work after loosing my sister to cancer last Nov, Brian did not know he was sick at that time, I am so happy Brian did not have to suffer for a long time but we miss him so much!
God Bless you during this sad time and know that Brian was loved by so many people!

Brian... you body may rest and soul soar on your next adventure. Your humor and kindness will be missed you defined friend. Of course you would be from Friendly Fridley. I hear they are looking for a prankster in Heaven... May you next journey be full of joy and lightness.

And so I bid you adieu my dear friend, the service was a representation of what a friend is, I will miss our talks and your guidance, the blue and purple garden with the burgundy accents all planted in threes, was planted lovingly while you endured your illness. Even though you are no longer here, your wit, spirit and garden will go on......

The Pries family extends it's heart and love to the Hoberg family. Two generations of life together has made us pretty much family. Each and every one of you are a treasure that we cherish.

The airline people came out in force for Brians Celebration Service and I heard of the extraordinary measures they took to allow all who cared about Brian to participate in his Celebration. People voluntarily changed shifts and stepped up today to allow friends to be present.

Know that we are near you in your loss and loving you all of the way.

We celebrate a life well lived today. Brian you brought such an unique sense of humor to all of us that it often caught us off guard. You were also a gentle soul, and not afraid of giving nor working hard. We will cherish the memories, the laughs and the stories that we have shared together. Your body has left this earth but the reminiscences will never leave our hearts.

My thoughts and prayers are with Mike and his whole family today.

I worked with Brian at Northwest Airlines. His great smile and awesome sense of humor brought joy and fun to so many.

He is in the thoughts of so many of his former co-workers today, and will be for some time to come.

May peace and God's grace be with you now, Brian and with your family in the days and months to come.

Opie....you will be missed by many. I will certainly miss our birthday outings to Mystic Lake and eating at the buffet while planning our winning strategies. One always had to pay attention when you were around cuz we never knew what or when your next prank would be. So sad to see you leave this life but we all know that you are not feeling the pain anymore. Bless you Brian. Until we meet again.

We were neighbors with the Hoberg's while our children were growing up. But have kept in touch all these years. Just want the whole family to know they have our sincere sympathy.

One of the kindest, hardest working people I ever knew. I cannot think of one person who ever had a bad word for Brian. He is already missed. Rest in peace my friend.

I worked with Brian at Northwest and he was the type of employee I would want to take care of my friends and relatives. He treated everyone the way I would want to be treated. He had a great sense of humor and a kindred spirit. I am fortunate he crossed my path. I am a better person for having known Brian. Brian, I miss you. My heart goes out to his family. Trish Graham
