Today we say goodbye to your beloved husband, Joey, who passed almost 3 (calendar) weeks earlier than you on March 1. May you and Joey now be reunited in Eternal Paradise and may you both shine your love down on Joe III and Shaun. As we say goodbye to Joey today, we still miss and remember you too. I'm Cheryl's daughter, Donna and I got this notification through her email which I check regularly. I'm very sorry not to have met Kathie. I know my Mam thought a lot of her and felt it very deeply when she died. Now that Mam has herself died, it was nice to see this page and she that she's being remembered also. Being remembered together, in the same place is lovely. I didn't realise she'd paid for this page. That was a nice thing to do.

To Joey, your sons, and friends and family of yours and Kathie's - thinking of you and hoping that on holidays such as this one your fond memories bring you strength, and that you find comfort and peace within each other and through knowing that we fans are here for you with our continued support. I don't have Facebook or Twitter but wanted to reach out to you today so I hope you don't mind my doing so this way. Just received Timeless and the new 2-CD set, and am very much looking forward to Return to Memphis which I ordered as soon as it was released - Kathie would be happy to know that even those of us who thought we had every Badfinger recording continue to watch for and buy all new releases. Though I never met Kathie myself I have heard so many wonderful things about her, especially from Sandi and Carrie, and know how proud she would be of all you have been doing. When we saw you in Mass in October we were near the stage and at the end of Sweet Tuesday Morning, which you sang so tenderly, I believe you turned for a moment to wipe tears from your eyes and a number of us in the audience felt that same devotion in tribute to her. Take care, and know that you are in our thoughts this Christmas and always.

I have know of Kathy's passing for some time now. Sometimes it is hard to find the words to say. I have never met Kathy but she seem to write good things in Badfinger Boogie that will sure be missed. Kathy sent we a wonderful Email and Joey you signed it on your birthday one year. I still have it today.Joey you were blessed to have someone wonderful like Kathy was.I'm sure she will be missed by everyone she touched.

All I can say is WOW! I kept telling myself that I have to call Kathie and now it's too late. I'm so sorry to hear the news Joey. I can't imagine what it's like to have her gone. She was awesome! We had some fun times back when you both were still in California. I remember babysitting the boys when they were newborn. It's hard to visualize one of you without the other. I feel quite a loss when I hear this news.

RIP. I remember the Molland's when they lived of all places, North Hollywood, Ca. Being a Rock N Roll fan, I recogized Joey the first time he came in to buy some smokes. A down to earth guy. He answered all my questions about The Beatles, Badfinger, and Jimi Hendrix.

I just came across a posting about the passing of your wife/mother/friend. I went to see Badfinger play at the old auditorium in Saint Paul in about 1985 or 86. It was so great to hear the band live after only catching bits on classic radio over the years. A woman came up to me and asked me if I liked the band. I told her how cool it was to see them and that I liked their music but could never find any albums so wasn't entirely familiar with the catalog. She gave me a band t-shirt and told me she was married to Joey Molland. She said if I waited that Joey would sign it - so of course I waited! He came out and chatted with us for a bit and of course we were just tongue-tied. He signed my t-shirt and to this day I still have good thoughts about this lady and her rock-star husband who were so nice to us. I still have the t-shirt and the autograph is still there. She touched people you don't even know.

I am absolutely heartsick to hear this. I have fond memories of the time I worked for Joe and Kathie on the "No Matter What" fanzine, and the time that (Rob and I) got to visit them at their home in Minnesota. Kathie was a stunning beauty, and a wonderfully funny, warm, honest woman. I still vividly remember her showing me her collection of clothes from her time spent in London, and told some great stories from those days. God bless you, Kathie. Peace be with you, Joey. Words cannot even begin to express how sad I feel today.

My mother was the coolest mom that boy could ever have. She let us do whatever we wanted and corrected us when we were wrong. This gave us the freedom to find out on are own. She had more willpowere than anyone i had ever met. I don't know how many times i have seen her stand her ground in a room where every one was against her and prove her point. She was blount and some times even offensive with her straight forward comments on what she believed in, right or wrong! She would not back down to anybody ever, it was amazing to see this through out my childhood. At times it was embbarising and i could not believe what she was doing, were my brother and I would hide before she could introduce us to another big intimidating crowd of well known people most of the time. She was so proud of us. She told me personally that she had lived a great life and was amazed that a little girl from hopkins would do the things that she had done. There is nothing like losing your mom, i miss her so much that i have to keep myself busy so i don't get stuck on realizing the fact that she is gone for my remanding years. She taught me so much, saved me so many times, believed in me always, and forgave me when i screwed up. I will forever be changed knowing that she is gone and will never forget what was there between her and I, love, unpparrelled in my life and unforgetable till the afterlife!
