Remembering Lucas: I was sadden to read about Lucas. Twenty years ago he was in my first grade class. What a class that was! The kind teachers dream of having.
Lucas was a kind ,sensitive young boy. It was my pleasure to spend a year watching him gain confidence and absorb the many things learned in first grade. He was well liked and a wonderful addtion to the class.
It is my hope the memories of Luke will comfort you. You are in my prayers.

Bob, Jan and Jamie, I was shocked to hear about Luke. My thoughts and prayers are with you.I have many fond memories of coaching Luke in elementary wrestling and trying to convince him not to quit and to stick it out.I was so proud of him when he qualified for the state tournament. I still tell Lukes story to my Jr. High kids today and I will continue to do so. He has touched so many lives and will continue to do so for a long long time. Luke, I have coached many many kids in my years and there are a handfull that have a special place in my heart. You are one of those few. Thank you, and may God bless you.
