Pete, Rob & Steve,
I was deeply saddened to hear about the passing of your dad. I learned many life lessons playing for Pete. I have many fond memories of the teams we played on and championships won. I use many of those lessons coaching my own kids teams. I am blessed to have had Pete Poppler and his family in my Life. Gods blessings to you.

Dear Poppler family,

So sorry to hear of your dad's passing. Pete was the very best Little League coach there was. He spent time with all the kids and your Mom cooked for all of them. My son was blessed to have known your dad and have him for a coach. I'll never forget your dad driving around and picking up all the kids for practice and games. He was a role model and everyone looked up to him. We were fortunate to share a little time with him on this earth. Bless him and all of you.

Our sincere condolences to all of you. You are in our thoughts and prayers. Pete was a part of our family for over 40 years. We will never forget Pete responding to our request to give some of our kids a lecture while they stood there in footed pajamas. Pete was stifling the giggles the whole time. What a guy. We truly loved the lovable. We are proud of our son in service with the Ramsey Country Sherriff’s Department. Pete played a part in his pursuit. Pete was a great guy and will be missed.

Bobby, Stevie, Pete and the Girls,

Sorry to hear about Big Pete, he was always larger than life when we were kids growing up. I appreciated all the time he spent at our hockey games and the occasional game of Gin, he didn't like to loose. Heartfelt condolences from the McGown family.
