David was in my online creative writing class at North Hennepin Community College. His writing was absolutely wonderful--so much that I routinely read it and passed it around to the other faculty here. In fact, two stories of his, "The Button" and "The Wedding" were chosen for publication in our literary magazine. The latter is a very moving story of his marriage to Julie, whom he refers to in the story as "the best thing that ever happened to him."
David had a wonderful and authentic voice. I'm glad his work was published and remains for others to read.
