Bill, since you left us, Leo and I have continued our work as a Therapy Dog team. We now live in Des Moines and have helped train dozens of other Therapy Dogs. You were the start, Bill, the person who helped us gain confidence as a Therapy Dog team. Since knowing you, we estimate that we have seen and given joy to over 4,000 people. That is because of you! We will always remember you and share a special place in our hearts for you.

Bill had to be the easiest going guy around. He always had a smile on his face and would find a way to gently poke a little fun at the people around him. He seemed to never complain about he struggles he had and simply dealt with life as it unfolded. He wlll be missed.

William Turner was a very nice man and a good man. I only saw him a few times but he impressed me so much and it reflects in how wonderful his family is. I'm sure he is smiling down with love for his family and friends. God surely loved him. He will be missed!

God brings people into your life to assist you when you most need assistance. Bill, Leo and I did not know what it meant to be a Therapy Dog team when we met you. We do now, thanks to you, and as long as we are together, we will remember you as that special first person that helped us see the way. Many others will benefit from the training you gave us, Bill! And, Leo wants you to know that he never did figure out how you moved his treats so fast between your hands!"

No one knows when a loss of someone we love, might strike any of us. Only God knows that. It's the way God wants it so that we can lean on each other and on Him.
