Anderson, Bill passed away as a result of a tragic accident in his home. Bill was the cherished son of Dick and Trudie Anderson; beloved brother of John (Ann), Jim (Kathy) and Bob (Rachael Hanson); adoring uncle to Jacob, Isaac, RachelAnn, Josh and Jack. Bill was a graduate of Columbia Heights High School 1985, captain of the football team and high school All-American. Bill was a proud member of the Iowa Hawkeyes football team (1985-1990) where he was a three- year starter, team captain and received All-Big Ten recognition; honorable mention 1988 and 1989 and 2nd team 1990. Bill's passions were hunting, fishing and golf. He will be remembered for his kind and gentle spirit. Memorial service Tuesday, May 31, 5 PM at Washburn-McReavy Columbia Heights Chapel.
